The bake sale donation drive hosted by the Crocker Highlands Elementary School in honor of Chris was a great success today. Hear about it here.

Please have another!!!!! I would have gone if I had known
I wish that I could have made it, but I was out of town for work. How can I help? Can I mail a check to the school? I really wourl like to help out and I wish all the best for Christopher and his recovery! Thanks God he is alive, and to his family, please continue to stay strong! Take great care and I really really wish that Chris recovers well from this!
Wow, that is great... I'm sending off a check in response to the other post. I'm still in new years diet mode, so I'll pass on the cookie!
Please consider contacting some well-known local non-profit to accept donations, earmarked in Chris's name. A lot of wealthy people would be encouraged to make even larger gifts if they were assured their donations were tax deductable.. (sad, perhaps, but true.)
Thank you for the suggestion regarding donating through a non-profit organization for Chris. The family will be taking that into consideration.
Oakland Youth Chorus will be holding a benefit concert for Chris on Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church of Oakland--685 14th St.(Corner of 14th and Castro). Chris is a former OYC student.
The concert will feature Keith Terry and Crosspulse, Chelle and Friends, and singers from OYC.
All proceeds will go to Chris' family.
