The Sunday School children at our church, Walnut Creek First United Methodist, made a card for Chris yesterday and we said a prayer for him. I will be mailing it as soon as i obtain an address to send it to.

I am a teacher at Piedmont Ave. Child Development Center, just 2 blocks from the Piedmont Piano Company. My school had just finished a fundraiser for Chris by selling heart-grams. I will be depositing the money in the trust fund at Wells Fargo Bank. However, I would like to send all the heart-grams to Chris and family as well. Please let me know
the address to which I can send. You can reply to onthegojl@aol.com

Thank you.

Sherry and Bill said....We were present at the very well attended Fundraiser at the Chapel of the Chimes. It was wonderful to see so many people so eager to be of support to Christopher and his family. We look forward to hearing about Christopher returning to his piano playing in the near future. Christopher, you are well loved and being prayed for by many. Our support and prayers will continue to go out for you.

Christopher, At this time of your life you have likely asked, "Why all the suffering?" For thousands of years, the human family has suffered greatly from wars, poverty, disasters, crime, injustice, sickness, and death. The past hundred years have seen more suffering than ever before. Will all of this ever end?

The comforting answer is YES, and very soon! God's Word, the Bible, proclaims: "The wicked one will be no more...But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." For how long? "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it." --Psalm 37:10, 11, 29.

Suffering is near its end. All the evidence shows that we are nearing the end of man's tragic experiment in independence from God. It has been clearly demonstrated that rulership by humans apart from God can never succeed. Only God's rulership can bring peace, happiness, perfect health, and everlasting life. So Jehovah's toleration of wickedness and suffering is nearing its end. Soon God will intervene in human affairs by destroying this entire unsatisfactory system of things.

Bible prophecy says: "in the days of those kings [human rulerships now existing] the God of heaven will set up a kingdom [in heaven] that will never be brought to ruin...It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms [present rulerships], and it itself will stand to times indefinite." --Daniel 2:44. The vindication of Jehovah's sovereignty, his right to rule, by his heavenly Kingdom is the central teaching of the Bible. Foretelling a key part of the sign of the "the last days," Jesus said: "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." -- Matthew 24:14.

Christopher, it is my prayer that you and your family of support place your faith in God's Word now, so that you will enjoy the peace of mind that comes from a consideration of His promises. He can undo all the injustice that you are now suffering.

Hi. I saw the story about Chris in the newspaper and it broke my heart. Life is so very fragile, and Chris's story reminds us that we are all vulnerable, and what we value most can be taken from us at any time. I hope his recovering is going well and he will be able to lead a normal life.

Sincerely,
Brian Labuwi
